Mentor - The role of the SRS mentor is to encourage the spiritual development of her mentee throguh supportive, non-judgmental friendship, which exemplifies at all times the love of God.  The mentor does not need to be an "expert" on theology or the Bible, but simply a womanof faith who is willing to nurture and support a mentee's faith journey.  The goal of the program is to meet the mentee wherever she in her faith development, and with acceptance, patience, and understanding, nurture her towards a closer relationship with God. 

 

Handyman (Handywoman) - Just like your house, ours occasionally needs fixing! This role would assist in little jobs around the house and possibly connect us with reputable services for larger jobs.

 

Fill-in Babysitter - Many of our Clients face a lapse in time before reliable child care can be esablished or a job that does not offer paid sick leave.  The Fill-in Babysitter is someone who is available for occasional, short-term child care for the children living at the House.

 

Publicity Coordinator - We need help spreading the word about St. Raymond's Society.  This role would coordinate opportunities for us to share our story by connecting with local agencies and organizations that are in line with the mission of SRS.

 

​Moving Crew - As families move in and out of the House, SRS assist in getting their living arrangements set up.  We need a group of strong people, preferrably with access to a truck, who can help move some furniture and household items.  This is a great group activity and the time commitment is occasional.
